The Goldfish market locates in Yau Tsim Mong District of Hong Kong. It is a very worthwhile place for sightseeing and shopping in Mong Kok of Yau Tsim Mong.
金魚市場位於香港油尖旺區，是旺角的一個觀光購物地點。

It is common to notice that the stores there put each fish into a tiny plastic bag filling with oxygen. Each bag has a price tag and is hanging in a row in front of the stores’ hob for customers to buy. 
這裡的店鋪會預先把一條條魚兒放在充了氧氣的小塑膠袋裡，並在袋上寫上價錢，然後再一排排的掛在店前鐵架上讓顧客選購。

In middle 1970s, people were interested in keeping fishes as pet. And the vast majority fish keepers chose to open their stores along Tung Choi Street as the base. As the street mainly sold fishes monopoly, people so called there “Goldfish Street”.
1970年代中期，當時興起養魚，魚鋪店主都選擇了旺角道至水渠道的一段通菜街作為他們的大本營。由於他們售賣金魚為主，所以俗稱金魚街。

At present, there are over 40 specialty stores selling aquarium fish, goldfish, koi crap and aquarium supplies and food, attracting many visitors who love fishes to come and shop. It is worth to aware that the stores used to operate very early in the morning each day.

現時，金魚街開設了超過40間專營觀賞魚、金魚、錦鯉及水族用品和魚糧等的專門店，吸引很多對養魚感興趣的人士到訪和購物。值得留意的是，魚鋪店很早便會開門營業。

Perhaps it is not known by many of you that there are not only selling fishes, but also tiny shrimps, frogs and other surprising species at the Goldfish market. 

可能有很多人都未必知道，其實金魚街不止有金魚，還有小蝦、青蛙等等呢 !

I still remember that my first fish was bought from the Goldfish market when I was a primary one student. I called it “Big Eye” because of its big size of eyes, which are always looking at me friendly. However, “Big Eye” lived with me for just about three months times and I cried many times without “Big Eye”.

我還記得第一條魚兒就是從金魚市場買回來，那時候我只是一個小一學生。我幫它取名為「大眼」，原因是它那一雙圓大的眼睛總是在看著我。但是我和「大眼」的相處時間只有短短的三個月時間，回想小時候哭了好多次。
