Location of Tsim Sha Tsui 尖沙咀的位置

Tsim Sha Tsui is a cape of Kowloon Peninsula and the center of gravity of Victoria Harbor. If you are standing in Victoria Harbor, you can get a distant view of the opposite side of Central.  

尖沙咀是位於九龍半島一個海角、 維港是尖沙咀的重心，如果您站在維港的海邊便可飽覽對面中環的景觀。

Tsim Sha Tsui’s alternative given name 尖沙咀的別名

Do you know that Tsim Sha Tsui has an alternative given name? Let’s share a story to you. In 1860, before Kowloon was ceded to Britain, there were several villages in Hong Kong that have superabundant Incense trees.Then the merchants through collecting superabundant incense wood to the quays (Tsim Sha Tsui) and transferred to Shek Pai Wan which located in southern Hong Kong Island for shipping and exporting to rest of the world. Thus, the thereupon “Tsim Sha Tsui” is called “Heung Po Tau”, the fragrant quay.

您知道尖沙咀有一個別名嗎? 讓我分享一個故事給您。據說，在1860年，九龍被割讓英國之前，香港有數村莊盛產香火樹(土沉香)。之後商人通過收集盛產的香木去碼頭(當時的尖沙咀)轉交給產品給位於南部香港島石排灣作艚運再出口到世界其他地方。因此，「尖沙咀」又稱「香埗頭」, 香碼頭。

Tsim Sha Tsui is an important transportation center in Hong Kong as it provides various of opinions like the Star Ferry Bus Terminus, Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade Salisbury Road, Tsim Sha Tsui Ferry Pier- Star Ferry from TST to Wan Chai & Central on Hong Kong Island and Tsim Sha Tsui/ East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR .

尖沙咀也是香港的重要交通樞紐，如尖沙咀天星碼頭公共運輸交匯處﹐尖東（麼地道）交通交匯處﹐天星小輪前往香港島北岸的中環碼頭和灣仔碼頭及尖沙咀/尖東港鐵站等。
