Reclamation Street Market is one of the most popular open-air bazaar market in Yau Ma Tei, it gradually formed after the Second World War and located between the North Sea Street and Gansu Street.

新填地市集是其中一個在油麻地最熱鬧的市集露天市集，在二次大戰後漸漸形成，位於北海街與甘肅街。

In Reclamation Street Market, you will be attracted by a green tin stalls with different size and decoration. Many visitors will be love to visit the market because of its unique street design. Weather will definitely be the major problem in Reclamation Street Market as it is an open-air bazaar. However, it inspire people's creativity such as  installed the retractable iron or hung upside down the umbrella to prevent rain and also keep off the sun.

在新填地市集中，你一定會被一個個綠色的鐵皮檔口，大小和佈置都不同的市集景觀所吸引，很多旅客都會到這個亂中有序的市集遊覽一下。因為是露天市集，天氣的不穩定往往成了攤檔的最煩惱的問題。不過正正因為如此，人們卻引發起無窮創意，如各商販在攤檔頂裝設伸縮鐵板，能伸展到路中心，或把雨傘倒置掛在攤檔的簷篷，以防止雨水弄濕貨物，同時遮擋猛烈的陽光。

In recent years, many South Asians moved into Yau Ma Tei and opened their own grocery store selling some home necessities and "Halal" meat. It makes the market more "internationalization".

Of course this time I must go to the Hong Kong Museum of ART that I missed last time!  Do you remember that last time  I said if I visited the Hong Kong Museum of ART, i will share somethings for you.   

是次我要去的博物館當然是上一次錯過了的香港藝術館啦!還記得上次我答應過您如果我到香港館藝術館參觀的話，一定會與您分享嗎?     

Although I don't have in-depth knowledge related to Art, I think being an audience to appreciate the artist's work is really feasted my eyes on those creative works and widen my horizon! 

即使我對藝術的了解並不太深入，但是能夠作為觀眾去欣賞藝術家的作品確實令我賞心悅目和大開眼界呢!

The entrance's design of this exhibition is really echo to it theme, It seems to be welcome me to visit it and I can seek for more things in  inherent   through this exhibition.

While I enter to a exhibition hall with black background, it displayed a series of  paintings and hear the song with" Hong Hong Our Home Theme Song", the curiousness that prompted me to take a look.

 我踏進入了一個黑色背景的展廳，放置了一系列的畫作和聽到「家是香港主題曲」，好奇心驅使我上前看一看。

Actually, the displayed paintings is the circumstances of Hong Kong. The artist Chow Chun fai through paintings with the particular moments or situations that showed people performance in Hong Kong and produce a flash with those paintings to express to others what make up Hong Kong.Among of the paintings that included the visitors viewing the Victory Harbour's night scenes in Tsim Sha Tsui Star Ferry Pier; daily life people meet withtheir friends with the scene of joyful and people facial expression with anxious.

原來展示的是香港的景況。藝術家周俊輝把這些香港的情境快速繪畫和製作了一段動畫片去表達香港究竟是怎樣的呢。其中畫作包括了遊人在尖沙嘴天星碼頭觀賞維多利亞港的夜景；日常生活中大家和友人相處的喜樂情景和人們憂慮時的面相等。

In the past while thinking about Hong Kong , people always brings out Hong Kong is energetic city , they work hard to stay alive, people in there are feeling comfortable, the society is quite blend and joyous. But contrarily in recently year of Hong Kong, do you notice there  are some change in our home? People through and mentality in Hong Kong   have different feedback. People smiling face is a bit little than in the past ,  distance among of people in Hong Kong is aloof...

Fa Yuen Street, commonly known as Sneakers Street by Hongkongers, locates between Dundas Street and Argyle Street in Mong Kok. This street is one of a famous shopping destination in Yau Tsim Mong in Hong Kong.  

香港人稱花園街 (旺角登打士街至亞皆老街之間) 為「波鞋街」，這條街道是香港油尖旺區著名的購物區之一。

Since 1980s, there have been many shops mainly selling sport shoes. As time pass, the paradigm of this street is featured with varieties of sport and equipment shops. Even when foreign football teams or American's NBA stars come to Hong Kong for competition, they will also visit Sneakers Street to hold events.   

自1980年代起，多家售賣運動鞋為主的商店開始在這裡開業，逐漸形成目前運動商店街的規模，就連外國的足球隊或者美國的籃球明星來港比賽時，也會到這裡來舉行活動。

In 2007, Urban Renewal Authority confirmed the implementation of the redevelopment plan. The project will construct 3- floor shopping malls to be named as ‘Sport city’ of about 30,000 square ft where specially selling sport shoes, other equipment and accessories. The shops will be preserved 
with the traditional designs of the street.   

在2007年，市區重建局落實重建計劃，會興建一座面積約3萬平方呎，樓高3層的「運動城」商場，專門售賣運動鞋和運動用品，並且會保留街道店鋪的傳統設計。  

At present, there are approximately 50 shops selling sport shoes and other sport utilities at Fa Yuen Street. Apart from different kinds of latest or limited edition sport shoes, you can also look for causal shoes,  leather shoes, hiking shoes, skateboarding shoes and other sporting equipment.   

現時花園街有50多間售賣運動鞋和運動用品的店舖，除了有各式各樣最新款、限量版的運動鞋，您還可以找到休閒鞋、皮鞋、遠足鞋、滑板鞋，以及其他運動用品。
 

A number of shops will also be stocked with the trendy and stylish sneakers overseas.  Therefore, you may have the chance to look for the fashionable sporting items referring to magazines' content or even some styles that are out of Hong Kong market. 

許多店鋪會有專人從外國搜購最流行的新款波鞋，所以只要是雜誌上刊登的，甚至是連香港還沒有代理的款式，都可在此尋覓得到。

Moreover, the monopolistic competition nature at Sneakers Street permits short-lived features in which it is quite mysterious to have uniform information about the price,  when the product on and off the shelves or any promotion and discounts there. Therefore, your favorite shoes will be sold out in a short period of time if you hesitate in making the buying decision.

In the past few weeks, we want to many different well-known destinations in Yau Mai Tei, such as Temple street night market, Toys museum, Old Yau Mai Tei Police Station and Jade market. It is not difficult for us to experience and know more about the local culture and life style of this community. And we find that Yai Mai Tei really is an unforgettable place in Hong Kong, because there are the memories of Hong Kong people. Moving on today, we -Yai Mai Tei little traveler want to introduce another special place for you which is Broadway Film Library in Yau Tsim Mong district.

This film library is celled Kubrick, which is named by movie guru--- Stanley Kubrick, and it was established by the Broadway Film cinema. The Broadway film cinema is the first film cinema in Yau Mai Tei, which was built in 1996 and it is the biggest cinema among the Broadway Circuit. The most impressing thing is that this big business film company located in Yau Mai Tei this old community. 

這電影庫名為布里克，這是用電影大師斯坦利 - 庫布里克來命名。它是由百老匯影院成立。百匯影院是油麻地的第一間電影院。始建於1996年，它是百老匯院線中最大的電影院。最令人印象深刻的是，這個大電影公司座落在油麻地這個舊社區中。

 Inside the shop, there are many films related books, CDs and artistic well paintings. We are surrounded by the great coffee smell and the warm and relaxing phenomena. We are super excited when we saw the numerous films DVDs on the wall shelf. And we can also find many different books of Films theories, Artistic Culture books and magazine. And sometime, some authors and films directors will be invited to come and chat with the fans. Do you want to spend an afternoon to enjoy the books and coffee in this great place too?
